Mobile Application Privacy Statement

This privacy statement is effective May 2023

This privacy statement explains how Identity Fabric collects and uses the data of users of the application Memority Mobile Application. This privacy statement may be updated regularly and changes will be reflected in this App. Users are recommended to check regularly the Privacy Policy link in the app and app store (i.e. Apple App Store, Google Play and/or Windows Store). For any change in the purposes of the processing, renewed consent of the users shall be procured.

Memority is a trademark of Identity Fabric.

Memority Mobile application software is owned and provided by Identity Fabric.

Memority Cloud Service is owned and operated by Identity Fabric.

Identity Fabric is processing your personal data for the following purposes

Memority Mobile application provides single sign-on, multi-factor authentication to our Customer Enterprise Cloud and On-premise web applications as well as access to identity management features of Memority Cloud service.  The Memority Mobile application can only be used in relation to Memority Cloud service.  Memority Cloud service is a commercial service to which your company or enterprise has subscribed or to which the company or enterprise for which you are a customer, a provider or a partner, has subscribed.  Within this Privacy Statement, this enterprise or company will be referenced as “The Customer Enterprise”.

What information does the App collect and how is it used?

Identity Fabric collects information via Apps in two ways: (1) directly (for example, when you provide information to log into the App), and (2) indirectly (for example through application error logs collection).

We may collect and process the following information:

  • User login as defined in Memority Cloud Service
  • Mobile Operation System type and mobile model
  • Memority Mobile application instance ID as generated on the mobile after installation
  • Mobile IP address
  • Any additional information required by the Customer Enterprise, including Android mobile IMEI, solely for enterprise customers that have explicitly required collection of this information for their processing activities.

Automatically Collected Information

The App may collect certain information automatically, such as the type of mobile device you use, mobile operating system, and information about the way you use the App.  This App may also use certain analytics software that enables IdentityFabric to better understand the functionality used in the App so that IdentityFabric can continue to improve the App.  You can stop collection of information by the App by uninstalling the App. To uninstall the App, you should use the standard uninstall process of your mobile device.  However, please note IdentityFabric will retain any previous usage information collected from the App according with the retention section of this Privacy Statement, Paragraph below.

Additional functionality enabled

For those consumers that have consented to the installation of any apps and any updates that are released through the app store, you further understand and agree that the App (including any updates) may (i) cause your device to automatically communicate with Identity Fabric or third party servers to deliver the functionality described regarding the App and/or record usage data and metrics, (ii) view, affect or modify preferences or data specific to our App and stored on your device, (iii) collect personal information to provide the features described above and as set out in this privacy policy, (iv) view network and Wi-Fi connections.

Information provided by you

The App may collect information that you voluntarily provide, for example when you register to use the App using a username and password or an activation code, all provided to you by Memority Cloud Service or by the Customer Enterprise IT service.

We use this information to provide you with the services you request and for other purposes which we would describe to you at the point where your information is collected.  For example:

  • To fulfill your requests for accessing the enterprise web applications secured by Memority Cloud service
  • To personalize your experience in our App
  • To determine what is effective about our App, how it is used by users and how we might improve it
  • To help diagnosing potential issue on our App

Such information collected by this App will be collected and used in accordance with the terms of this privacy statement and applicable data privacy laws.

Information provided by the “Customer Enterprise”

Memority Mobile application will display user enterprise identity information once the user is logged in towards Memority Cloud Service within the App.  The user enterprise identity information is downloaded by the App from Memority Cloud Service and has been provided to Memority Cloud Service by the Customer Enterprise. They are not collected from the mobile. The user enterprise identity information displayed by the App are defined by the Customer Enterprise, they may include user personal data such as (this is only a subset):

  • User first and last name
  • User enterprise or contact email known by the Customer Enterprise
  • User enterprise roles
  • User photograph
  • User phone number known by the Customer Enterprise

Please see the Memority Privacy Statement for a description of what cookies are, how Memority uses these and what to do if you don’t want cookies.  By using the App, you agree that we can place cookies and/or other tracking technologies on your device as explained in the Memority Privacy Statement.

How long do you keep my information for?

We will retain the data collected by the app for as long as you use the App or the “Customer Enterprise” applications and for one year thereafter. Please note that some or all of the data may be required in order for the App to function properly, and we may be required to retain certain information by law or by the Enterprise Customer.

Where will my information be processed?

The personal data we collect may be routed, stored, or transferred internationally throughout Identity Fabric organization or contracted service providers with strict respect of the contracts executed with the Customer Enterprise. As a contracted service provider, please check the inWebo Data Privacy Statement for the usage mAccess authentication module which is integrated in the App. Furthermore, Identity Fabric maintains internal policies to ensure that an equivalent level of protection is in place across our organization.

Security

We take appropriate steps to maintain the security of personal data collected via the App, including implementing the appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure a level of security appropriate to the risk.

Third party links

The App may, from time to time, contain links to and from the sites of our partner networks, and affiliates. If you follow a link to any of these sites, please note that these sites have their own privacy policies and that we do not accept any responsibility or liability for these policies or the security of these sites. Please check these policies before you submit any personal data to these sites.

What are my rights?

You are entitled to know whether we hold personal data about you and, if we do, to have access to that personal data and require it to be corrected and/or deleted if it is inaccurate.

Note that most of the personal data that we hold about you comes from information provided to Memority Cloud Service by the Customer Enterprise IT service. Therefore, you should preferably contact your company, the “Customer Enterprise”, typically by opening a service request with your Customer Enterprise IT service.  Your Customer Enterprise will then make the necessary updates and or corrections to your data, and fulfill any data subject access requests and will contact Memority Cloud service with any modifications to your information.
